Thank you to all who took the time to attend the Annual Meeting in San Antonio. While the meeting didn’t go as well as planned, there were some areas that were made apparent from this meeting. Unfortunately, sometimes the best lessons are learned through the worst experiences. It was requested that the board consider a Special Meeting to clear up the issues that were discovered in our Bylaws, and this will be a topic of discussion on November 14th.I look forward to working with the new board and seeing where the next year takes IBCA. There are a lot of good things that have been discussed from the new scoring system to ways to enhance taste judge “wrangling” and some small perks for the members.
