Where has 2013 gone??? October was filled with 34 events and there are still 16 events on the calendar for the balance of the year. One of those events is the Gruene Harley Davidison, New Braunfels, which is the first of the Western Wood Series. I understand that the first and third event are completely full with only a few spots available at Helotes.
They are already 80+ events on the calendar for 2014 with several new ones – it is getting difficult to find an open week-end to do an event. Here again, we need more Head Judges to oversee these events. The workshops have been producing 1 or 2 new perspective ones.
Complaints about the website:
- ALL Head Cooks – if you want your name to be spelled correctly on the website – it is your responsibility to make sure that the Promoter can read your application — also, you need to make sure that you give them all of your information. Just because you are a member doesn’t mean that we should have to look up your information to make sure that you get the invitations that you might be entitled to.
- Membership problems – Paypal has been the problem for this — they aren’t registering the data that has been processed in a timely manner and has created a big problem for Laura in getting your information. She has almost gotten everything straightened out but please remember – this is a volunteer position and she has a full time paying job.
- We are working toward having a location for advertisement starting the first of the year – if you are interested in obtaining a spot, please contact me at email@example.com and we already have several people that have contacted us.
We realize that most of the members are unable to attend a meeting in the middle of the week, however, on Wednesday, December 4th, we will be presenting “Kash for Kids” money raised at the Traders Village event. Watch the website and IBCA Facebook page for the time and place.
