Congratulations to:  Angie Pruett and Michelle Wade on being elected as Board of Directors at Large,  Lori Griffith, Secretary; and Laura Blount, Treasurer.

We would like to thank the outgoing Board of  Directors for their leadership the past 2 years.

As we start our new fiscal year, there are events almost every week-end.  The 2012-13 fiscal year IBCA sanctioned 238 events.  Thanks to all of the cooks that have supported these events.

2013-2014 is starting off with a big splash with 70 events thru 2013 and approx. 60 on the books already for 2014.   Remember if you can’t cook an event the Head Judges can always use some help in the Judging area.

The past 2 months I have held several Head Judge classes – Lubbock, San Marcos, and the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and we have acquired a few new Head Judges but there is still room for more.  If anyone is interested in helping out in this area feel free to contact Lori or Lynn and we will get you involved with some of our existing Head Judges.
